Keystroke recording and playing back in the IDE
If you write a lot of code, you would probably have come across a situation where you need to record some keystrokes and play them back a number of times. You can now do this in the Delphi IDE by pressing [Ctrl][Shift][R] to start recording, type in the keystrokes you want repeated, and press [Ctrl][Shift][R] to stop recording. To Play back, press [Ctrl][Shift][P].
Note: This only works with default keymapping. To find out what key- mapping you are using, click Environment Options in the Tools menu. In the Editor Tab, you will see your key mapping in the Editor Speedsetting Combobox.
